The AI crowd is boring, monotonous, mundaneā¦ The workforce is filled with older generation academics, and is usually monopolized by only a couple of companies (Amazon, Google, Microsoft, OpenAI). Consequently, it is likely that a room full of the brightest people in the room will still seem quite dull. Although it is my belief that it is more impactful to work in AIāI would probably consider it the dark side.
Contrastingly, web 3 is filled with dreamers. The young, ambitious, often not experienced, and probably not skilled enough ādegensā that fuel the space continue to provide energy to their peers. This energy may or may not cause societal impact, but is means for tremendous personal growth.
